EXPANSION PROJECT!

The Batesville Memorial Public Library Arts & Innovation HUB is a great community investment that represents a vision for the future. This vision is made possible through significant public and private support, including a $2 million Indiana READI 2.0 grant, local funding support, and generous community and foundation contributions.

Designed as a regional hub for creativity, teamwork, and lifelong learning, the 8,300-square-foot facility will feature makerspace technology, recording studios, event space, collaborative work areas, and innovative resources for people of all ages. The Arts & Innovation Hub has five rooms to choose from if you are looking for a place to collaborate. They also have an Event Room that can host up to 200 people. This new facility offers indoor spaces for public use, but also has many opportunities for outdoor uses. The Event Lawn provides outdoor seating on a raised lawn, as well as meeting places throughout the campus.
