    Great Plains Communications is growing!  We are looking for an experienced and professional person to fill the position of Digital Marketing Manager.
    The individual hired for this position must be located in Nebraska, Iowa, Indiana or Colorado and limited travel to Nebraska is required. -
    This position will develop, implement, and manage GPC’s overall digital marketing strategy to drive new customer acquisition, customer retention, revenue and profit growth for both residential and commercial lines of business.  Will collaborate for success with fellow marketing team members, sales, customer resource center, other internal departments, current and potential customers, and outside agency partners to meet company goals.
    Duties include:

    • Develops effective digital marketing strategies to drive revenue generation and meet company customer acquisition goals.
    • Utilizes existing skill set, role and industry best practices to develop digital marketing campaigns that drive quantifiable results.
    • Conducts effective research to determine strategy including the following:
      • Digital advertising and SEO major platform data
      • Economic indicators
      • Tracking search volumes
      • Customer needs and pain points
      • Competitor monitoring
    • Communicates strategy and implementation plan based on results to VP of Marketing and Public Relations including:
      • Implementation calendars
      • Projected KPI and conversion results
      • Results analysis and reporting plan.
    • Utilizes research to determine the best approach to drive positive results.
    • Shifts plans as needed based on testing of current strategy.
    • Sets and holds employees accountable for attainable goals.
    • Leads by example, rewarding success and proactively addressing areas of improvement to enable employee and company success.
    • Encourages and guides employees towards training opportunities to meet personal and company goals.
    • Anticipates, initiates and performs hiring, training, promotion and termination.
    • Performs appraisals and submits to Human Resources Department at least 15 days prior to anniversary date.
    • Reviews training and succession plans for each subordinate at the end of each year.
    • Provides employees the resources and opportunities for training and development.
    • Effectively guides and directs people to accomplish objectives, including appropriate delegation of authority.
    • Affects positively the performance of other employees, including assisting co-workers and working to accomplish job and company objectives.
    • Attends customer and industry functions as an ambassador of Great Plains Communications.
    • Conducts customer and employee interactions courteously and professionally.
    • Takes direction from the VP of Marketing and Public Relations who may assign other duties and responsibilities as required.
    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, digital communications or related field desired.
          Telecommunications experience is preferred.

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven work experience in digital marketing with telecommunications industry and management experience preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
    • Experience with successful A/B and multivariate digital testing and experiments is required.
    • A working knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools including Word Press, Google Analytics, SEMRush, etc. is necessary.
    • Graphic design experience and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
    • Experience setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines required.
    • Experience effectively defining KPI’s and developing measurement plans and reporting dashboards to track impact of initiatives, overall contribution of digital channels and key channel sales and service metrics needed.
    • Wireless Business Experience a plus
