Thanking Veterans Lunch

Decatur County Memorial Hospital is partnering with the American Legion Post 129 and Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home to recognize and thank all who have served.

Outline of the activities on Saturday, November 9:

• All Youth Invited | Join the ‘Walk with a Hero’ campaign, a project to incorporate our youth into Veterans programs. Youth are invited to sign up to walk or ride with a Veteran they bring to the parade — or to walk or ride with a Veteran already in attendance at the parade
• 10:00 a.m. | Attendees and Veterans can arrive at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home (Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home can allow attendees to stand inside if inclement weather)
• 11:00 a.m. | The parade starts at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home and proceeds to the flag poles on the south side of the square
• 11:45 a.m. | A short ceremony will be held
• Post-Parade Lunch | DCMH will provide lunch made by CP Tavern at American Legion Post 129 at 326 E Main St, Greensburg

All are invited and welcome to attend — No RSVP for lunch or the parade necessary.
