DESCRIPTION:New this year\, we are asking the community to show honor to a friend\, family member\, or loved one who has experienced\, is experiencing\, or may experience any form of domestic abuse. Domestic abuse is a silent epidemic and we want victims and survivors to know that they are supported.\n\n\n\nBy speaking openly about domestic abuse\, our hope is to remove any shame associated with the journey to break free from the cycle of physical and emotional abuse. What better way to begin this journey than to recognize those whom we know to be survivors and to acknowledge the hundreds of others who suffer silently.\n\n\n\nWe hope to bring light and honor to all survivors of domestic abuse by displaying these tributes at our annual fundraising event. The anonymous honorees will be highlighted on certificates and displayed around a purple rose bouquet. Each certificate will individually display "In honor of...." and the words chosen by the donor to describe their recipient. \n\n \n\nPlease help us offer support to the known and unknown survivors\, that we may honor their journey and\, in turn\, become a community that recognized the importance of actively working to abolish this hidden epidemic.  \n\n\n\nPurple Rose Tribute: Online Contributions Only.\n\n\n\nThe tribute will be displayed at our annual Wine & Roses Fundraising Event on Aug 6th at The Hitching Post\, Greensburg\, IN \n\n\n\n\n\nTributes can be made from July 1 through July 31 and will be displayed Aug 6th\, 2021.
